At Step Ahead Occupational Therapy, we specialise in mobile paediatric OT services, delivered directly to your home, school, preschool, or community setting. Our flexible, family-centred approach ensures children receive therapy in familiar environments, making it easier to generalise skills into their everyday routines.
We proudly support children of all ages and abilities across the Canterbury-Bankstown regions of Sydney, with all services available under the NDIS.
EARLY CHILDHOOD INTERVENTION
SCHOOL-AGED OT SUPPORT
MOBILE INTERVENTION
We provide early intervention support for children aged 0–6 to help them build the foundational skills needed for independence, learning, and social interaction.

This ensures therapy is relevant, accessible, and embedded into your child’s natural routines.
We’re proud to bring the Sense Rugby program to the Canterbury-Bankstown and Mascot areas. This unique, NDIS-approved therapy program combines occupational therapy with sport to help children who struggle in mainstream settings.
Led by experienced OTs, Sense Rugby uses modified rugby-based activities to support:

Funding Options

NDIS (Self/Plan Managed
We provide services for participants with NDIS funding, whether self-managed or plan-managed, allowing flexibility in your choice of provider.
Medicare
Eligible clients can access occupational therapy services through Medicare with an approved referral under the Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan.
Private Health Insurance
If you have private health insurance, you may be able to claim rebates for occupational therapy services, depending on your level of cover.
